My two year old beat me to the puch, she has her first broken bone - - I have never had one.
We were playing monster chase yesterday and she fell of the bed hitting her elbow on the bed frame. The hit resulted in a broken bone. She gets a splint for a week and then a cast on monday. She however is fine (why the doctor perscribed tylenol with codine I will never know, and why my husdand filled the perscription is yet another mystery) She is hoping up and down and pretty much the same girl. Except she can't move her arm and has come up with such crazy quirks as:
"I need fry sucae, my arm is broken."
"I have a broken arm, will you feed me."
Its great
Who would have thought that at two and half she has already mastered manipulating the system.
But now I have a problem, all she wants to do this morning is watch movies. Its going to drive me batty. I have been trying so hard to keep extended t.v. watching out of my house... and now... How can I tell my cute little girl with her broken arm that we have to play rather than vedge.
I am a push over.
Dan says not to push it, just let her heal... but part of me is screaming at the t.v. monster. And it doesn't help I had to watch the awful shows on the disney channel last ngiht. One of them had a masterbation joke - my jaw dropped. I guess I misestimated the targetted age range...
You rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you have to make choices.Hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are and who you want to become.

We hope Alice heals quickly. Don't worry too much about the TV thing, Alice will soon be wanting all her old things again. If you need anything, let me know. By the way, did you get the car fixed?
