You rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you have to make choices.Hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are and who you want to become.

20 Weeks

So, I haven't posted much about this pregnancy - and for good reason. After a year and a half of trying to get pregnant our little baby was lost at 12 weeks. This current pregnancy began only 2 months after that loss. As you can imagine we were still in some semblance of mourning, after all how do you mourn a life that 'barely' existed. Strangely enough - the due date for our lost child is on the 24th of this month - the day after I hit my 20th week mark for this current pregnancy. Its a strange paradox, but one I am becoming more accostomed to each day.
So, as I have a big weekend, I am marking the 20 week mark of this pregnancy today.

As pretty much everyone knows, we cannot afford an ultrasound, making pretty much everything about this pregnancy a surprise. But, I have felt the baby move - alot. And Dan is impatiently awaiting his turn to pester the little bugger by poking him back. Alice surprised me this morning when she had her head rested on my baby belly by asking what the baby was doing in there. Although I would assume it to be too early, the way so spake made me almost sure she had felt some semblance of movement.

I am still sick If I don't eat on schedule - and am begining tot ire of most foods. In short, I don't want to eat anymore. But other than that everything is going perfectly with this pregnancy. I am measuring right on, heart beat is good steady and strong, and have no real problems to speak of (knock on wood)

So - onto the pictures.

For a nice comparisson, this is me at about 21 weeks pregnant with Alice ( we were at Disneyland. I thought I looked soooo pregnant...

This is me on alices birthday...

Sorry for the crappy pic, but taking self portraits of bellys does not work very well.

I ended up getting GIGANTIC with alice. And hope that doesn't happen this time around, considering I am starting so much bigger...

I guess bets are open as to how much weight I will gain lol
