You rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you have to make choices.Hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are and who you want to become.

Boo!!

So I have been trying to be all gung ho about holiday crafts. I love crafts, so much is learned by making doing and exploring so the more crafts, adventures and all around mess we have at our house the better!! Speaking of which I am all out of construction paper... better go put that on the list.

Ok I'm back

The first craft we did was make ghosts - Boo! - I was going to do this all tutorial like but forget to take enough pictures of that... my bad.

First step - cut out peices of fabric in a circle so as to make the ghosts.

Second step - break out the 'doesn't wash out of anything black paint.

Third Step - you invite over cousins and you sit them all down at a table covered with shirts to avoid getting that doesn't wash out of anything paint on them. Then take a picture as Aunt Katia tries to escape the camera! (there is no escape!)

Fourth step - arm cousins with a wide variety of paint brushes an let them go to town.

I drew the faces on the ghosts so they could follow if they want but free expression works just as well

Fifth step set them out to dry

And last. get a plastic cup and place it inside the fabric, string a thread (or something similar) through cup and phost to give it shape when hanging.

Unfortunatly I don't have pictures of the finished product. Alice and Dan promptly went outside to hang it up, gave it too long of a string and the ghost flew up into the gutter in the wind - never to be seen from since. (actually its still there I just can't reach it)

I have all the stuff ready to do pumpkins... except the iron. When I find that iron I wil be right on yet another art roject.

In the meantime however we turned her dolls into fairies, learned all about the letter G, went on a red scavenger hun and are currently getting ready to make nut bugs!

Go get busy!
