You rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you have to make choices.Hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are and who you want to become.

Why we Don't Vaccinate

I was goin gto post a long drawn out response to this, but decided that in many ways that is like forcing my opinions on people and I don't want to do that. I just get frusterated when people hear that we do something 'unusual' and automatically assume that we are crazy. No, it is not that way at all really. Everything I do come from an informed decision made after many hours of research. Like the vaccination, Alice had a bad reaction and so I did research. I found that vaccinations are neither tested or produced in a way that should be veiwed as appropriate for our children. I have nothing wrong with vaccinations as a whole. What I do have a problem with however is pumping perfectly healthy kids full of vaccinations that have not been tested, are made for desises that do not need vaccinations (chicken Pox), that they will never get (Hep B) or vaccinations that the immunity will wear off when your child reaches puberty (ALL OF THEM). I would rather vaccinate for the illnesses that are a threat or were made decently and have very little risk (Or have not been banned in other countries because of there side effects). And when our children reach puberty they can make the decision to vaccinate for ilnesses on there own. But I will not risk such side effects on my child. I will not risk her life on a vaccine that may not work (and yes, death is a side effect and it happens more than you would think).
Oh dear I started getting preachy anyway.
What I am trying to say is that I hope people would talk and discuss these things with me. Rather than automatically assuming that I am a bad person. I try really hard not to push my veiws on other people and judge them for what they do. I would appreciate the same be done to me.
