The Zoo

Alice and I went to the zoo for the first time this warm weather season. It was very fun.
We saw the monkeys first and Alice decided she wanted to take a picture of them, so she grabbed my camera, turned it in aimed it at the monkeys and snapped.

Can you see the monkey? I guarantee you he is there.
After the monkeys we continued on toward the elephants and saw what Hogle zoo will be unleashing on us this summer.

Thank we had to sit in the boat for a while, pretend to row and sing lots of versions of Row Row Row Your boat. Which got us lots of weird looks. Honestly people, when did it become illegal to PLAY with your kids?!

After this we went not over to the bears as is the usual, but to the reptile house and spent an unusually large amount of time here.

Normally alice won't go near these things.

But unfortunately for her her momentary bravery ended badly. She promptly backed up and clung to an unsympathetic mans legs with gave way to the biggest frown in the world and a request to go home.
We left the reptile house fairly quickly as I tried to cheer her up and not even this majestic fellow did the trick.

But I knew what would.

Ice cream comes, And I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy the zoos ice cream cones

And while we ate ice cream cones Alice took a few more pictures.
