The Letter B

I was feeling really aweful the week we did B. As in really aweful. It actually took us two weeks to get through it. Which is why it makes me laugh that B is currently Alice's favorite letter. She points them out everwhere emmensely excited at her discovery. She does this to A, M, O, and C as well... but is never as excited as she gets with B.

I decided when I first started this that as Alice has no interest in tracing, but has planty of interest in copying and in creating drawings with her scribbles (like brontasaurauses) that I would simply have her mimic my writting of the letter. She likes B the best. A line a bubble and a bubble. The first time we did this it ended up looking like a figure 8 with a line through it, but she has gotten closer since. (this was the best picture I could get of this, she was very excited to show it off.

We also made a bumble bee out of the letter B (no time for flash cards) found B things in our home, went on a bear hunt and then drew our bear, played with balls, and of course did the letter B sticker sheet.

Very very fun
