You rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you have to make choices.Hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are and who you want to become.

25 weeks

PhotobucketTechnically I am 26 weeks now, but I had to wait for the pictures to get onto my computer. My card reader on my computer os being very testy and only works within the first hour after a reboot... its really stupid. But I have decided I am only going to take a few more belly pictures, 25 weeks (which we did handprints), 30 weeks (which we are going to paint the belly for halloween) and 35 weeks (henna time!) I will probably squeeze a 38 week one in on christmas, but beyond that it will only be labor stuff. I am excited to get some good labor shots this time around, me drugged up on Oxygen was aweful, and I want those picture burned.
We had a lot of fun painting my belly, alice especially. I am kind of excited to do it again on halloween!

So I am currently 26 weeks, and I still feel like this pregnanyc is absolutly flying by. I mean look at the floating baby, I have less than a hundred days left until the due date. 11 weeks until I am full term, 13 weeks until my due date, 15 weeks until I have to transfer out of my midwifes care fo 'prolounged gestational age' whatever. But, seeing as alice was born at 38 weeks 2 days and I was in and out of the hospital twice before that with early labor signs, we will have to see what happens this time.
I am practically done with baby stuff. I found my fleece when we were unpacking the last of the boxes last night, so I can make the last few kimono tops and longies. Beyond that, I have pacifiers and receiving blankets to buy for baby.
I did have a fun scare this last week, that kind of ended up being entertaining. I have been loosing some sensation in my hands lately. The hand in which loses the most sensation varies (this morning its the right) and it stays mostly in the thumb and fore finger. Of course, this happened on the day I didn't have a phone either, through the help of Katia and Dan I was able to get ahold of H, my midwife, and she rushed right over to my house. Her original worry was about stroke, but because the numbness is in both hands her worries about it lessened some. But, I still get to watch for all the fun signs of that. She spent quite a while here as we monitered the baby and talked about different things that have been going on that could be the cause of the numbness. She tried to strap me up to her portable fetel moniter, but the baby was so low down, and the placenta is quite litterally in the front of my belly that it was hard to pick up a consistant reading with it. We tried for more than an hour.
I have been nothing but impressed with my midwife so far, after such an odd, sometimes bad, experience with my hospital birth, its so nice to be around someone that genuinly knows what she is doing and cares about her 'patients'.
I have another appointment today, don't know if she will want me to go to it since she was just here this last week, but we will have to see.
This baby is 14 inches long now and almost weighs two pounds. Crazy eh? I am quite literally days away from being in the third trimester, and then the race for the weight gain begins. I am going to be so large and uncomfortable by christmas... this will be fun lol

Just wanted to say...with my last 2 pregnancies I had that. Chiro adjustments fixed it. Mine got so bad after the birht of my 3 year old that I couldnt write.

When it started flaring up again this time we knew exactly what to do.
